Last night Kaylee and I started a new weekly tradition — Girls Night. From here on out every Friday night (or most) will be Girls Night for the two of us. Since her daddy left for training she has needed some extra one on one time with me and I think this will do just the trick. Last night we invited one of her little friends Caitlin over to partake in the girls night festivities.

Last night’s theme — Makeup. They did their makeup, dressed up, got all their bling bling on and pranced around. Kaylee was a cheerleader and Caitlin was a princess.

This morning when Kaylee woke up the first thing she said to me was “Mom, that was the greatest party ever!” In that moment I knew that this is one of the many things I have to be sure to do every week until her daddy returns from his up coming deployment.
