Sasha is a creative, fabulous photographer. She is friendly, light hearted, warm and fun to be with.  She is relaxed yet a true professional. She has an artistic eye for a great shot.  She recently took pictures of our 4 month old son and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results. She was extremely patient with our little one which is oh so important.   It is obvious she loves what she does.  It shows in her work, which result in wonderful photos.  It would be tough to find anyone better.

Last night Kaylee and I started a new weekly tradition — Girls Night. From here on out every Friday night (or most) will be Girls Night for the two of us. Since her daddy left for training she has needed some extra one on one time with me and I think this will do just the trick. Last night we invited one of her little friends Caitlin over to partake in the girls night festivities.

Last night’s theme — Makeup. They did their makeup, dressed up, got all their bling bling on and pranced around. Kaylee was a cheerleader and Caitlin was a princess.

This morning when Kaylee woke up the first thing she said to me was “Mom, that was the greatest party ever!” In that moment I knew that this is one of the many things I have to be sure to do every week until her daddy returns from his up coming deployment.

New Site

What? Announcement # 2 is here already? I thought it wasn’t going to happen until August?

I know, I know I said I wouldn’t make the announcement until the first of August BUT I’m so excited about it that I couldn’t wait!! So here goes — Sasha Branam Photography will be launching a brand spankin new website VERY soon! I requested for the site to go live today so if all goes well it should be up and running very soon!! In the meantime here’s a little sneak peek to hold you over. Enjoy!

Yesterday kicked off the start of a crazy busy week for me. I have 4 sessions this week and a wedding so if I am slow to respond to your call or email just know that I will get to you asap!

I also thought I would post a little preview before the real preview of my session with Candice and Matt yesterday. This was by far one of the most interesting engagement sessions to date — we hiked up part of a mountain and had an encounter with a black bear — but it was a blast and so worth it!
