She’s Growin Up!

May 29, 2008

Way too fast if you ask me! Kaylee’s birthday is on Saturday and she can’t wait! Here’s her invite that was sent out and I’m sure I will post more photos from the party this weekend. In other Birthday news — Happy Birthday Dad! Hope you had a wonderful day, wish we could be there to celebrate with you! :)

Oldies but Goodies…

May 29, 2008

Over the past week or so I have been going through all the photos on my external hard drive and making sure that I have them backed up and re backed up just in case something crazy happens and they get erased somehow during the move. I came across a few of my personal photos that I thought I would post (or in some cases repost).

I love this one because it really shows Chris’ personality — he’s a complete goofball and I love him so much for it! :)

I can’t really pinpoint why I love this one so much, but I do! :)

I took this one when we were back home visiting family. It’s my dad doing what he loves to do — fishing on the beach. :) I’m counting down the days until we can go home to Texas!

This is one of the first photos I ever took after I bought my new camera. I love that it looks a little spooky and reminds me of Halloween! :)

The other morning while I was making the kids breakfast Kaylee came to me with a very confused look on her face. When I asked her what was wrong she replied “Mom, when does my eye have a mustache?” and pointed at her eyebrow. I couldn’t help but laugh and explain to her that her eye didn’t have a mustache but an eyebrow. :)

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Daddy’s Little Girl

May 28, 2008

“When a daughter first meets her father, she makes room in her heart for the first significant man in her life; she becomes Daddy’s little girl.”
Author: From the book “Daddies & daughters” by Carmen Renee Berry

About two months ago I *tried* to surprise my husband with Trace Adkins tickets (he’s a BIG fan), the reason I say *tried* to is because I am HORRIBLE when it comes to surprising him, I get so excited about it and end up telling him what the surprise is — never fails! Anyways, last night was the concert and it was so much fun! His *Arlington* song always makes me cry and his song *American Man* makes me think of my dad (Miss you & love you Pops!)

I did take my little point and shoot camera but didn’t really use it, so I googled him to get a photo :)
