I’ve known about I Heart Faces for a little while now, but when I went to check it out this morning and saw that Nate Kaiser from the image is found is this weeks guest judge I decided to jump right in and enter.  Nate and his wife Jaclyn are on my top five of favorite photographers and I would love to attend one of their shootshops one day!  Maybe when the red headed fox returns we can take a vacay in Cali and I can make that happen.

The Sweets:

• Harper told me a knock knock joke.  His first ever!  It didn’t make any sense at all but I loved it!
• Sonic Lemon Berry slush, oh how I love them!
• I was able to chat it up with the red headed fox for a little over 30 minutes!  Huge improvement over the quick phone calls I’ve been getting lately.
• I just ordered a new digital point and shoot!  YAY!  We have one but it’s currently in Iraq with the red headed fox, it should be here early next week.

The Sours:

• I went to take my midterm for my History class and after I answered 1 question the site timed out and wouldn’t let me log back in to finish taking it.  BOO!  Hopefully that will all be cleared up sometime this week
• I have to get a new battery for my Jeep.  I went out of town not to long ago and it sat in our drive way for a couple of weeks without being started so needless to say when I went to try and start it I got nothing.
• My lawnmower.  I despise that thing, it’s pretty much brand new but decided to stop working.  Why does everything go wrong when the red headed fox is away?

Now for the fun part, the photo!  I took this of Kaylee today before I went to do a newborn session.  I just love this one!!

We are officially in the “only 6 more months to go” phase of this deployment. I can’t tell you how exciting I am to be on the down hill slope (now I can’t get the song “It’s all downhill from here” outta my head). The time has flown by since he left in August for training and I’m hoping the last little stretch will just the same. I have a ton of things happening over the next few months (announcement will be coming soonish!) so the time should fly by.

Now for one of the many things I miss about Chris.  Every Sunday morning we always look at Post Secret together, I still do but it will be so nice to have him by my side discussing the secrets together.

10 Random Things I Did Today:

1. Woke up next to one of the cutest little 2 year olds ever.  He was giving me kisses saying “wake up momma”.
2. I did some major studying for my midterm in a few days.
3. Laundry — blah!  Who likes doing laundry?
4. Edited some photos of the beautiful Kahlie.
5. Danced it out.  That’s right people, when things are on my mind or bothering me I dance it out (the kids do too, it’s a family thing! haha!).
6. I went to the grocery store.
7. I addressed some photo cards of the kids to send out to family.
8. Talked to the Red Headed Fox AKA the husband.
9. Got a delivery from that nice man in brown.
10. Made dinner.

As always, a photo to go along with the blog.  This is not a new image but it is a favorite of mine that was taken last year on Brittney & Heath’s wedding day.

Isn’t she gorgeous?  I had so many favorites I couldn’t narrow it down so sit back and enjoy them all!!

• We are officially 6 months down in this deployment!  YAY!
• Seeing the pure joy on Kaylee’s face and all her dance moves while watching her favorite rock star Hannah Montana at the theater
• Harper is feeling much better this week, no breathing problems at all!

The Sours

• We still have 6 more months in this deployment.  I know they will fly by but at this moment October seems so far away.
• I still haven’t redesigned the blog
• I got my Yukon stuck in the mud on Saturday, luckily for me my dad is a better “get the car out of the mud” person than I am.  I was too afraid of hitting other cars that were parked in the same field as I was.  Hopefully they had better luck getting out of there than I did. 
• The rain.

It’s not to often I take my little ones out for a session, not because I don’t want to but because it is so hard for me to photograph my own kids.  I will warn you that there is a ton of them that I’m posting so be prepared for cuteness overload.
