Hey there!  I’m Sasha and welcome to Sasha Branam Photography {The Blog}.  If you’ve found yourself on this page more than likely it’s because you want to know a little more about who I am, so here you go………

I love photography.  Simple as that.  It’s my passion and it consumes me.  Nothing makes me happier than getting that perfect shot.  I love the freedom and creativity of it.  To put it plainly photography rocks my world.

I am a mom to two beautiful children.  Kaylee is my oldest and she is one of the most amazing little girls ever, seriously (I’m not biased it’s true, haha!) .  She is crazy smart for her young age of 3 and constantly keeps me on my toes.  She’s hilarious and says some of the most off the wall things.  She’s gorgeous and a total sweetheart when she wants to be.  I love her more than she will ever know.  Harper is my youngest and he is one of the most amazing little boys ever, seriously (again I’m not being biased).  He is also super smart for his little age of 2.  He loves to pick on his sister and he’s currently a huge mama’s boy.  He loves Dinosaurs and will chase you around acting like he’s one, lately he thinks when it thunders there are Dinosaurs outside.  He is beyond handsome and rocks a Mohawk.  I love him more than he will ever know.

I am a wife to my wonderific (wonderful & terrific)  husband Chris.  He’s my heart.  We’ve been married for 6 years and we’ve known each other for just a tiny bit longer than that.  I knew within the first week after meeting him that he was “the one” for me.  Everyone thought that we were crazy but here we are 6 years later and going strong.  He’s everything and more than I could have ever hoped for in a husband.  He makes me crepes for breakfast (that’s right people my man knows how to make crepes!), he’s my biggest fan, my best friend, he’s thoughtful and caring.  He loves me for me, what more could I ask?  He’s also a soldier in the Army and I couldn’t be any prouder of him.  He’s currently on his third “business trip”  (as we refer to it) to Iraq.  We’re a little over half way through the total 15 months of it.  I miss that man like crazy and I love him more than he will ever know.

I’ve talked about my kids and my husband so now it’s time for me.  I love to be a tad different, not allot but enough.  It keeps things fun.  I try to always see the silver lining no matter how hard it may be and sometimes it’s tough but I always manage to find the good.  I’ve recently started going back to college.  I’m a flip flops and jeans kinda girl.  I love music and am a fan to many artists.  I can be a little on the fickle side and love changing things up.  I currently have eight tattoos.  I love to read.  Pink is my favorite color.  I love Marilyn Monroe movies.  I love to laugh, laughing so much it hurts is the best.  I’m a Texas girl born and raised.

So there you have it, a little about me and my family.  Wanna know anything else just ask me.

Hey just stopped by. I wish we were both still in Alaska so that you could do this baby’s maternity session and newborn session! The site looks great as always.

Hi,
I wanted to say thank you on a comment you made on my site about my I heart faces post. I was just looking through your site and going through your archives and saw that you lived in Alaska. We were there too from 04-07. It seems we have a lot in common, I also love photography,(hoping to start up my busy again in GA), I’m from Texas(El Paso), and of course the hubby in the military thing.
It was nice to “meet” you and I look forward to stopping by your site again.

Hi Sasha!
I am coming to Texas for 2 weeks in November and would LOVE to have you take some pictures of Ean. We will be coming in on the 13th and leave the 27th. I will be staying in Pearland but will be more than happy to meet you somewhere inbetween or closer to your home. Let me know if you have any availability.
Thanks so much,
Christie
